The
Perceiva DSD190 is the premiere monitor for high quality stereoscopic viewing.
The Perceiva’s unique technology lets multiple
viewers simultaneously view images from the
front of the display – up, down, left & right -
from virtually any angle, so you no longer have
to be situated in that “sweet spot” directly in
front of the display. The Perceiva’s display is
several times brighter than traditional CRT based
3D systems with minimal crosstalk between the
left and right stereo images and, unlike other
technologies, it preserves full resolution for each eye.
The Perceiva uses a light source similar to that of a rear projection TV, to create the highest brightness and contrast needed to achieve excellent stereo performance. The Perceiva’s patented and licensed LCD technology, eliminates the flicker inherent in CRT systems and presents simultaneous left and right stereo images to the viewer. The wide angle viewing is achieved by using a special light diffusing anti-reflective front glass screen that maintains contrast even in bright office environments. Each image is encoded with polarized light and decoded when the viewer wears special polarized glasses. The Perceiva is easily setup in a few minutes using either a DVI-D or VGA input, and most stereo ready graphics cards (such as nVIDIA Quadro FX and ATI FireGL) work seamlessly. Resolutions from 800 X 600 up to 1280 X 1024 are supported with refresh rates of 60 – 76 Hz. Each display is individually calibrated and together they provide an unsurpassed stereo performance. |
